ulti.me is now four weeks old. And I already know stuff about you. First of all - you really dig this newsletter. On average 78% open the newsletter and 85% click at least one link. That's like triple the industry standards.
Around 1/3 of you are from the States, 1/3 from Northern Europe and the rest from all over the world. There's only ONE subscriber from Congo - but I'm confident I can double that in no time.
28% procent use Gmail, 10% Hotmail and 5% Yahoo!. 24% read on their iPhone - good thing I made this baby mobile friendly!
I'm proud to say that no one EVER unsubscribed. You should browse the archive to see why.
US Open Championships is where the cool kids go these days. Twenty-four high level Ultimate teams in three divisions (open, mixed, and women's) will compete in a four-day, invitation-only tournament in Colorado Springs in July.
Highlights from games shot at the 2012 Stanford Invite in Palo Alto. Filthy. Plus some really cool top 10 plays from the AUDL in April - totally dig the speaker; "his body must be made of pure punishment".
Eric Meyer took a trip to Spain and played the Costa Brava mix beach tournament. He concluded that you can see some major differences between American and European Ultimate.

The race for the college men’s Callahan 2012, awarded to "the personification of the ideal ultimate player" is ON! Top contenters and prime piece of Ultimate meat are Nick Lance, Eric Johnson and Alex Thorne. Must see sick plays! Also - Skyd collects all candidate videos as they come in.
The Callahan award was named for Henry Pfau Callahan after his untimely death in 1982. SKYD speaks with Jay Callahan about his brother.
Get ready for unprecedented front row access to the best Ultimate the world has to offer with more than 50 games aired over 30+ days. Check out the NGN broadcast schedule for 2012. Also GoLiveUltimate has AUDL week 1-4 games free for the rest of May (if you give them your mail address).
Brodie Smith TWENTYONE talks about the differences between the AUDL and USA Ultimate. Did he make it a whole 21 minutes just to match his player number?
"These stockbrokers, students and factory workers all play an obscure game for no money - and no fame". Yes - it's Ultimate documentary anno 1989.
The classic 3 man drill with Furious George from 2003. Really easy to spot travelling from this video angle. Nifty fakes though.
